I think I met Rupert back in 2016 during Grid Squid's first show in Amarillo, Texas (shoutouts to GIANT). Since then we've bounced around the idea of a collab. I finally buckled down and made it happen during the end of 2018/beginning of 2019. "You Odyssey this Coming" and "Striking While the Irony's Still Hot" were both originally songs meant for a Grid Squid mixtape that was supposed to be our follow up to Kev Brown 2, but when that project was scrapped I decided that I still wanted to use them so they were tweaked to fit Rupert's production style. The rest of the tunes were written specifically for this project. Big ups to Rupert for being so patient with me. Hope y'all enjoy!
