I'm finally releasing a project I wrote in 2014 (with the exception of the opening song). Michael Winters hit me with some beats and I wrote seven songs. Then I more or less sat on the project while waiting for guest verses. I also dove deeper into making Grid Squid an actual group project and touring act instead of just a loose, unfocused collective. StereoFiend was also starting to gig regularly and we released our debut EP during this time, so I pushed my solo work to the side. These songs may be a little old but I still enjoy them. This is rare for someone who generally begins to dislike anything he's done once it's already aged more than a year. I'm using 2017 as a test run for a resurgence of my solo work and I thought releasing Frozen Leaves would be a good way to hit the ground running. So I scrapped 3 of the songs, then completely rewrote one which would become "Lose, Leave, Quit", and bugged Perry Spadoni Jr. for artwork. Now I'm ready to release my first solo project since November 2014. Thanks for being patient.

First and foremost, thanks to Mike Winters for providing the backbone for this project. Shoutouts to Luis Esoteric for the guest verse on "Watercolor in the Stanzas". Big ups to CA the Commoner for the verse and gang vox on "Grid Squid or Nothin" and the singing at the end of "Mics & Azaleas". I wanna thank Faylita Hicks for also helping with the gang vocals and voice work on "Grid Squid or Nothin" and for the extra voice work on "Julia: My Siren & The Queen of Hearts". Also big ups to Perry Spadoni Jr. for all of the artwork surrounding this project (album art, tshirt designs, etc).

Couldn't have done it without you guys. Appreciate it.
