I met Regore during what I think was Grid Squid's last group gig in Houston. Later he asked me to be a part of a project that would feature his friends in the hip hop community collaborating over a collection of his beats. Shoryuken and Divergent Paths were written for this project. In the meantime he also asked me to add vocals to the song that would become Sleepless on Frenchmen. After a while we decided to just use all 3 of these songs as a springboard into a joint project resulting in Passion Prevails. Big ups to everyone who helped me bring these songs to life and thanks for listening!
